BIOGRAPHY

ASSADI Aymen (35 years old) has completed his PhD from Chemistry Engineer School ENSCR in Rennes, France. He joined ENSCR as associate professor in 2014. He obtained recently (June 2019) his Thesis Director Enabling Degree “HDR” (Photo-electrocatalytic Reactor Design for Advanced Oxidation Processes – University of Rennes 1) in Process Engineering. His field of expertise concerns environmental engineering and especially the study of physical and chemical treatments in relation with traces compounds. His research focuses mainly on processes involving electric reactor (nonthermal plasma) and photocatalysis oxidation of micropollution and / or processes involving a transfer to a solid phase. He has skills in modelling and simulation of depollution processes for industrial scale extrapolation. He has more than 10 industrial collaboration. With an h-index of 21, he published more than 65 A ranking publications (Google Scholar: 1200 citations), 2 patents. He is Editor to three Elsevier Books and has two book-chapters and presented numerous communications at international meetings (more than 70). He is associate editor (Springer journals), guest editor and regular reviewer for many international peer reviewed journals.
